Little Maddie Walker

That's right, I said WALKER! I can't believe it but my little baby is so not a little baby anymore.

Saturday she took her first few steps with her Daddy while we (I) were (was) trying to put up the Christmas tree in the basement (note that I said basement, I.E. hopefully the place she can't get to it and pull it down on top of herself... oh the crazy visions!). Of course I was the one decorating the tree so I missed these little steps but Daddy swears they were real. I laughed and kind of rolled my eyes and said OK, that's great and kept decorating (thinking to myself that my 10 month old baby couldn't be walking already, right?). Well, I'll have you know that I was SO wrong. Yesterday I decided to veg out in front of the TV for a bit while she played on the floor. I took my attention off of her for a minute and she's across the room. And then she did it again. She was so proud of herself and now it's all she wants to do. I guess we've got a lot more bumps and bruises coming our way...
